Vessel 02 from the Wild Rice Series
Stoneware, wheel-thrown, carved, stained, and fired in an oxidation atmosphere at 2200 degrees F. 7 1/4” h x 4 1/2”w x 7 1/2”d. The Wild Rice series was inspired by the wild rice growing in the San Marcos River. I wanted to capture the movement of the wild rice as it flows in the San Marcos River.
